Aviva Hills is located in Canton, a city that has a rich history that deeply influences our community. Founded in 1805 by Bezaleel Wells, Canton grew significantly due to its strategic location and the Ohio and Erie Canal development. The city is closely associated with William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States, who practiced law here and conducted his famous “Front Porch Campaign” from his home during the 1896 presidential election.
McKinley’s legacy continues with the McKinley National Memorial, where he is buried. Canton is also home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, reflecting the city’s pivotal role in the early development of professional football.
